Steve and Nancy Bachler were recognized as this year’s Ben & Adith Miller Community Service Tribute recipients at a dinner held in their honor on Friday, April 27 at Cedar Valley Golf Course in Winona.
Winona natives and high school classmates who reconnected and married in 2008, the Bachlers share a passion for community involvement and a willingness to serve others, and they are modest about their outstanding generosity.
Steve and Nancy’s volunteer involvement has made a significant and positive impact on the Winona community. Their abundant enthusiasm and consistent dedication to serving others has benefited several area organizations, each individually and as a couple. Their contributions and fundraising efforts include sharing musical talent and marketing expertise, promoting tourism and nature, supporting and furthering the efforts of schools and volunteering with local organizations focused on helping community members of all ages.
Hugh and Vera Miller and RTP Company generously gave $25,000 to the Winona Health Foundation’s Ben & Adith Miller Patient Care Fund in the Bachler’s honor. The Patient Care Fund helps community members in need with their medical bills. This is the 30th consecutive year that the Miller family has sponsored the Ben & Adith Miller Community Service Tribute.
